I accidentally led her to think we were heading to a riverside maternity session and she saw nothing but dry grass. "Are we in the right place?" As I prep her images now, I'm thinking a resounding, "YES."
Thankfully, she trusted me. We moved forward, and good gracious, am I glad she did. This place was absolutely alight with beauty. The summer heat relented for the first time in a long time and a breeze came mercifully through every few minutes. We were swallowed up in a gorgeous setting and celebrating this miraculous moment. And I just couldn't quit exclaiming and marveling over the beauty.
That necklace: It was a gift from her husband on their wedding day. And she plans to make sure it makes an appearance in all the significant moments of their family's life.
How gorgeous is she, though? She may have swollen feet, but she's got movie-star hair and I may have arranged it more than I needed to. (It was so silky, though, I couldn't resist.)
The countdown is on! I can't wait to celebrate the arrival of this baby girl.
*This seals it. Maternity photo sessions are quickly becoming my favorite new thing.*
